You Made the Match!

Our spring appeal ended June 30th, and you, our supporters, came through in a remarkable way!

We had a generous dollar-for-dollar match available: If we raised $25,000, an additional $25,000 would be contributed. You gave $25,930, allowing us to receive the full match and raise a total of $50,930 for Circle Center!

Your support helps ensure that older adults and their caregivers can continue to receive the care, connection and respite they need.

Thank you for making this possible!

Joy Circle began with a need we were seeing repeatedly.

Families would visit Circle Center soon after a dementia diagnosis. Care partners could see how much support, connection and respite would help, but their loved ones were not yet comfortable with a medically oriented adult day program.

Joy Circle began with a need we were seeing repeatedly.

Families would visit Circle Center soon after a dementia diagnosis. Care partners could see how much support, connection and respite would help, but their loved ones were not yet comfortable with a medically oriented adult day program.

Joy Circle was created to meet families at that earlier stage.

Each free, weekly program offers social engagement and meaningful activities for people living with early- to mid-stage memory loss. At the same time, their care partners can participate in a support group, connect with others and take a much-needed break.

The first Joy Circle opened in March at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church. Friendship Baptist Church launched its program in June, and Trinity United Methodist Church will open a third location on July 23.

Space is limited. Learn more about participating, volunteering or bringing a Joy Circle to your faith community.

Thank You to Our Funding Partners

As our fiscal year came to a close on June 30th, we reflected on the many organizations that helped make Circle Center’s work possible.

Over the past year, foundations, corporations, faith communities and nonprofit partners have invested generously in our mission. Their support helps us provide comprehensive, personalized care for older adults while giving caregivers essential support and respite.

This philanthropic funding is especially important for participants who rely on Medicaid. Medicaid reimburses Circle Center

$64.17 per participant per day, while the average cost of providing care is $135 per day. Grants and charitable gifts help close that gap so that financial circumstances do not become a barrier to care.

We invite you to view the list of organizations that supported Circle Center during the past year.

To these partners, as well as our individual donors and everyone who has supported Circle Center throughout our 50-year history:

Thank you. We are deeply grateful.
